Wild Heart - Reverse Confetti SFYTT

Good morning! Stopping by with a card this morning for this month's Reverse Confetti SFYTT (stands for Sketch For You To Try) - I hope you'll come play along with us!

I also have a video sharing how I put this card together:

If you can't tell, I was totally inspired by the colors of the newest RC paper pad - Forever My Love. It was fun to combine it with the new Heart Spots stamps and Confetti Cuts as well!

Here are the Reverse Confetti products I used on this card - click on the picture if you want to learn more about any of these items!

Reverse Confetti Kindness Cards

Good morning! Popping in today to share this fun little set of note cards that I made with the most recent Reverse Confetti release! They are the perfect fun size to tuck in your kids lunch boxes, or tie onto a bouquet of flowers for friend, or tuck in a little gift basket for a friend just because!

I used the fun new Kindness Cards stamp set and coordinating Kindness Cards Confetti Cuts for these - and lots of fun Reverse Confetti Cardstock.

I heat embossed a couple of the large sentiments on scraps of the same colored cardstock I die cut the cards from, then cut them out with the coordinating dies and mixed and matched the colors. I stamped the rest of the sentiment and the lines from the stamp set, then added a few more little heat embossed elements to the cards as well.

Hugs Enclosed - SSS February Card Kit

Good morning! I have another card to share using the BRAND NEW February Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp: A Colorful Crafty Life! There is a darling stamp set, some lovely papers, and a host of other fun goodies including two embossing folders, some wood embellishments, a waterbrush, some Daniel Smith watercolor samples, Studio Katia Crystals, glue, and even some adorable scissors - not to mention the cardstock and envelopes!

I stamped the circle with the envelope from the Crafty Friends stamp set several times on a panel of watercolor paper, then used the included Daniel Smith watercolors to randomly color around the images. I die cut that panel with a Stitched Rectangle die, then thinly matted with some Audrey Blue cardstock included in the kit. I heat embossed my sentiment in white on a strip of vellum and wrapped it around that panel, adhering on the reverse side. I also added another tiny sentiment, stamped on a little piece of Green Apple Cardstock. I used one of the embossing folders in the kit to emboss a panel of white cardstock, and mounted that under the front panel, and mounted the entire thing on a Burnt Orange cardbase - then finished off with some Glossy Apple Green Nuvo Drops!

Here is a look at the entire kit contents - you can find it HERE:

Wonky Layers - SSS February Card Kit

Hello there! Stopping by tonight to share a card I made using the BRAND NEW February Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp: A Colorful Crafty Life!

For my card tonight, I used a bunch of the gorgeous pattern papers! I die cut them using Wonky Rectangles and layered them up, then added some white hearts cut with Wonky Hearts Dies. I added a sentiment from the stamp set, heat embossed on some of the included Slate Cardstock, and die cut with Stitched Banners Dies. Finished off with a bit of bling from the fun Studio Katia Cupid's Kiss Crystals that are included in the kit!

Here is a look at the entire kit contents - you can find it HERE:

I adhered the pattern paper just in the centers of the panels, then used my fingers to curl up the edges a bit. This is a great way to get a bit of dimension - without a lot of bulk! I then popped the hearts and sentiment panel up on foam adhesive for a bit of extra dimension.

SSS Friends Release Blog Hop - Galaxy Background Video Tutorial

Good morning - and welcome to Day 2 of a special Simon Says Stamp blog hop to celebrate the special Friends Release that happened last December! Since there wasn't a blog hop at the time of the release, SSS wanted to make sure it had it's time to shine - and of course celebrate with some fabulous prizes as well!

Late last year I discovered the fun of making watercolor galaxy backgrounds - and have been a bit addicted to them ever since! When I posted my first ones, I had several requests for a video tutorial - it took me FOREVER to get around to it (sorry!) - but I finally did make a video for the background I used on this card! The new From the Rooftops stamp set seemed like the perfect set to use for one of these backgrounds.

I can't help but thing that this background came out looking almost like an aurora borealis, which is perfect for this card! Here is that video:

For the rest of the card that went over the background, I used my favorite stamp set from this release, From the Rooftops. I stamped the mountain range several times, cut them out, and colored them with just two shades of Copic markers. I layered them all together behind a snowy hill cut with SSS Drifting Stitches dies, and added sparkly Nuvo drops on the tops of the mountains.

I die cut a rectangle from my galaxy background using SSS Wonky Rectangles, and added my mountains and snow drift over the top with foam adhesive. Sentiments from From the Rooftops were stamped and heat embossed on black cardstock, trimmed down, and then mounted with foam adhesive as well. Finished off by mounting the entire panel on a Fog cardbase!

GIVEAWAY INFO: Simon Says Stamp is giving away a $25 coupon at every stop along the hop - so make sure and leave some love as you hop along for a chance to win! Winners will be announced next Wednesday on the Simon Says Stamp Blog.

Now - here is the entire blog hop line-up so you don't miss a single stop:
